I hope today you are able to gather with friends and family in celebration of the miracle of the resurrection. Let us be reminded of His sacrifice and the gift we are granted of eternal salvation.
Today on Easter Sunday, I wanted to share a different “Read” than we usually send on Sunday mornings. It’s a reading from the book of Isaiah, an appropriate text as we celebrate this Resurrection Sunday.
But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
