Vote by Advance Ballot:

If you requested an advance ballot, you can check the status at myvoteinfo.voteks.org.

To return your ballot:

• Take your ballot to your county election office during regular business hours.
• Any Election Day polling place will also allow you to drop off your advance ballot to be counted. Polls close at 7 p.m. on Election Day, so be sure and return your ballot by then.
• If you choose to mail your ballot back, don’t delay. While ballots don’t have to be postmarked until Tuesday, Nov. 5, they must also be received by your county election office by Friday, Nov. 8. Dropping your ballot in the mail sooner gives it a greater chance to reach the election office on time. Ballots postmarked after Nov. 5 and/or received in the county election office after Nov. 8 will not be counted.

General election dates to remember:

Tuesday, October 15 – Last day to register to vote in the general election.

Wednesday, October 16 – First day advance ballots are mailed and in-person advance voting may begin. Contact your county election office to find out when and where.

Tuesday, October 29 – Deadline for voters to apply for advance ballots to be mailed for the general election.

Monday, November 4 – Noon deadline to cast advance ballots in person at county election office.

Tuesday, November 5 (GENERAL ELECTION) – Advance ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received in the county election office no later than three days after the election. Advance ballots may be hand-delivered to the county election office or to any polling place within the county by close of polls.
