Ron’s Reads 7/31

Friend,

Today is the last day of July. My Republican colleagues and I have been pushing back against Democrats’ bad policies this month, but they are determined to weaken our country through attacks on our energy producers, reckless spending and abandoning the Constitution.

Below are articles and commentary about what’s happening in our nation and our world. Each week I hope to provide items you might have missed from the mainstream media.

As I mentioned earlier, it’s the last day of the month. Before you read this week’s articles, I hope you’ll consider making a contribution to my team today so that I can continue delivering this weekly news roundup to your inbox. It’s critical that we end July strong, and every dollar you contribute is greatly appreciated.

“The bill is unlikely to pass the Senate since it would require the support of 10 Republican senators to get past the filibuster. Many House Republicans called the bill an attempt to crack down on the Second Amendment.”

“Democrats have long been unhappy with the electoral process, unless, of course, their candidate won. When their candidate loses, debate begins anew about how unfair the Electoral College is.”

“President Biden met with at least 14 of Hunter Biden’s business associates while he was vice president in the Obama White House, casting further doubt on the president’s repeated claims that he had no knowledge of his son’s foreign business dealings.”
